I think this applies to all male-dominated industry…not just IT industry. But if this IT company is a consulting firm….it won’t be that bad. It’ll be worse if it’s a software company.

This entry will not have any comic because I’m not feeling well right now. Having mild food poisoning. I was having fever before I went to the clinic. Anyway, here’s the story…

I went to this ING panel clinic in Damansara Perdana (there are only 2 panel clinics there) and the doctor made me waited for 40 minutes. There wasn’t any other patient. 40 minutes later….the nurse came out again and took my “form” (a.k.a. medical record) and passed it to the doctor inside. At that time, another lady came out and sat near the “nurse area”. A very pretty lady and looks like a model. =_=

Then i went in and realized…… the nurse forgot about me and they were chatting inside for the whole 40 minutes!!

Never mind….here’s the conversation between me and the Bollywood doctor (i think she should be quite a pretty lady many years ago)

Doc: Any allergy to any medicines? (it was my first visit)

Me: Nope.

Doc: What’s the problem?

Me: Slight fever and stomach not feeling well.

Doc: You have sore throat or flu or cough?

Me: Nope.

Doc: Then shouldn’t be.

I was like…har?????

Me: Could it be food poisoning?

Doc: Did you have diarrhea or vomitting?

Me: Nope. Just stomach discomfort.

Doc: Then it’s not food poisoning.

Again, i went …harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?????????????

Doc: Let me check if you have the slight fever you claimed.

After checking………….

Doc: Nope. You’re fine.

Me: Could it be because i took 2 panadols just now? I was feeling quite bad then.

Doc: Then what’s the point of coming? I cannot check if you took 2 panadols.

Me: Could it be because of lack of rest?

Doc: Yesterday was Sunday right? And then Saturday before that. You’re not working right? Then should be more than enough rest.

I was thinking……who made her think Saturday and Sunday must stay at home do nothing but rest?!?

Doc: Never mind, I’ll give you some panadols.

And she charged me RM 25……….for few panadols………… luckily I was using ING card. What kind of hopeless doctor is this? I didn’t even mention anything about MC and I went to the clinic at 5.30pm (i left office 30 minutes earlier).
