I’ve finally launched my webcomic. It’s called Cubic Nation – a webcomic on office life.

It’s currently in beta version and the design is quite messy. Not much customization as well…and well..not much identity. =_=

I’ll try my best to do as much as possible within these 7 days. I schedule to upgrade the webcomic into a “full version” (from beta) before the month of June.

p/s……. the first comic is a bit…deep, as claimed by some of my friends. And some also said it’s not very funny. Sorry if that’s the case. I find it quite funny though. LOL. *syok sendiri*

This is the first time I used the template. So the art is more ’standardized’ but somehow, it took me a longer time to finish this comic. I guess it’s tidier. I just need to train myself more and get used to this. My templates are not very efficient yet.

By the way, I’m in the midst of coming out with a comic blog. Figure it’s better to separate the writing part with the drawing part.

By the way, the comic will be based on office life (more on IT industry since I’m in IT ).

Situation in company where turnover rate is high

A very simple comic I drew right before my flu medicine started to take effect. Really a simple one. It’s been a while since I last came out with a comic. I actually had to clean the dust off my drawing tablet before using it.

I’ll try my best to come out with more decent comics after this. Hope you guys will like it.

Unlucky car thief

Feel like drawing this out after my colleagues told me about the recent car theft cases in Puchong area. The colourings might be a bit off…and the lines (black lines) as well. Guess it’s not easy to draw a detailed comic. Hope you all will like it.

UPDATE:

My friends said they couldn’t understand the comic. Here are some of the questions.

• Q: How come the car without tyre can move until door banging wall one?
• A: It slanted to the front, means there were back tyres.

• Q: Why cannot move the car forward and then get out?
• A: The crash already made such a loud sound. If you drive the car in front, the steel stuff will scratch the ground. Will be very dangerous wor.

• Q: Why cannot get out from passenger side?
• A: Oh, the other side also blocked. I didn’t draw because I didn’t realize the panel too small until I wanted to start drawing in it. My bad.

• Q: Why cannot get out from back door?
• A: Because the car only got 2 doors lor. My bad for not drawing it clearly again.

• Q: Why he still there after so long hours? 3am – 7am!
• A: Because the thief is stupid.

It’s been a while since I last drew a comic of this kind. I think my drawing skills on a tablet…kinda getting worse a little. Rusty. Hahaha. Hope you like it.

This competition is meant for primary and secondary schoolchildren who loves to create comics and stories.

The prizes this time are quite good – Sony PS 3 is one of them (i spent quite long to save $$ for it….).

Not sure if this is funny. Just wanted to draw something for one of the lessons i’ve learnt from (again) Prof Randy Pausch – “Brick wall is there to see how badly you want something”.
