Actually when I tell people to think about their dreams and ambitions, there will surely be some which cannot be achieved. People do change as they get older and some, due to health concerns or financial concerns, can become pretty much impossible. But thinking about it does remind us of who we really are and who we really want to be.

Who knows, maybe 95% of the dreams are actually achievable.

Being a pilot was my childhood dream and I nursed that until I actually enrolled in flight school very briefly (single engine stuff). I got booted out due to blood pressure issues. Extraordinary low bp that can cause me to pass out in sudden high g changes and there was nothing I could do to fix low bp.

That’s one childhood dream that I cannot realize.
