Start something easy
People with big dreams tend to be greedy, myself included. We have big dreams and we tend to push ourselves a lot by setting up big milestones. We want to accomplish more in a short amount of time so that we can move closer to our dreams at a faster pace.
But is that really the right way?
It depends on how motivated or how disciplined you are. If you are like most people, it is pretty likely that you are going to set a lot of difficult goals and…….leave them completely. Why? Because the goals are so difficult that they actually become very big obstacles to your success. You will often find yourselves frustrated because you just cannot seem to overcome those big obstacles.
And it makes you feel like giving up.
Well, there’s one thing you can do actually. Change all those milestones/goals altogether. Make smaller and simpler ones. Start doing them. The purpose here is to start a routine. Once you’ve made them into a routine, you can then modify them into something slightly more difficult.
For example, exercise for 5 minutes everyday is a good start, as compared to exercise for 1 hour everyday.
Conclusion, make something easy with the purpose of starting a routine. Make things more difficult and you’ll find yourselves frustrated and unable to accomplish anything.

Yeah, take it from someone with a little bit of experience – don’t jump into the deep end of the pool before you’ve learnt how to swim.

Don’t make the small goals too difficult, or you will find yourselves stuck and reluctant to proceed.
Yeap. Milestones in this case are the small goals.
