New posting schedule & opinions needed

Greetings readers,

I’ve finally decided to stick to a fixed posting schedule. I’ll be posting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. This is due to my slightly hectic schedule and also I plan to use some of the free time to do few things such as:

  • Do my own personal projects
  • Start a new blog which is related to technology
  • Redesign this blog’s outlook
  • Draw some comics :)
  • Maybe come out with ebooks – content compiled from the comics and articles of this blog
  • Provide more helpful articles here

Last but not least, I would like to thank you all once again for all the support throughout the years. It’s really been a long time since I first started blogging. :) Thanks!

  1. Ooo… Do a cartoon friend.

Times like this, we need a good laugh. Got 1 inspiration already – employee introduction mail from HR which we got today.

  2. Me want comics.

Been thinking of cutting down my posts as well. Thing is I got more than 40 posts in queue, and growing by about 5-10 a week. That’s why there’s been multiple postings a day from me.

  3. @ Angie
Hmm, I’ll try to do that. Trying to see how I can produce a comic in a faster and more efficient manner. Perhaps saving some of the images as templates…or have some sort of a library. Hmm.

Oh ya, the HR email today is quite a funny 1. :P

    @ Damien
Haha, ok ok, hopefully I can give you the comics. :P

40 ?!?! I find it hard to come out with 5 per week!

  4. One advantage about not having a social life is that you start talking to yourself, and that’s why I have plenty to write about. :) If you notice, while everyone likes to talk about what happened, I love to ask WHY it happened. There’s something about humans that has always intrigued me.

  5. @ Damien
Most people like to talk about things which have happened…..without any solution. They love to talk about the problem – not the prevention, and not the solution. You can see that in our local blogosphere actually. :) How nice if people start to talk more about prevention/solution for a change.

  6. I’m very amazed with your posting frequency (as a programmer, you must have lots of projects to be completed). I myself don’t have that much passion in blogging anymore. I find it quite hard for me to post things lately..just see my posting frequency =.=

But I’ve always been reading your blog through my feed reader. :D Keep up the good job and I love to read what you post.

  7. @ Apple
Actually my company currently don reli have much project – if any. I’m doing my own project most of the time. That’s why whenever I’m free, I will just write n write n write, and save all of them up as drafts for the future. :) So that when I really get busy, i still have something to post.

To me, blogging is about passion but my passion is not blogging but more to sharing. I love to share what I know and also discuss with people on certain topics. And if possible, I also hope my posts can help people. That’s all. That’s why i rarely see me blogging about myself. :)

Yeap, I also keep track of your blog from the RSS ;) Thanks for the support and your lessons back then :D You helped me a lot in blogging stuff.
