To Lin Dan, Usain Bolt, Jamaican runners, Chinese gymnasts, Russian synchronized swimmers, Korean Taekwondo exponents, aliens, monsters, dragons…….. come to Malaysia! We have teh tarik, nasi lemak, ice kacang, handsome guys and pretty girls, and what used to be world’s tallest building ! And most importantly, our government is RICH ! So RICH that they will reward anyone who can win gold medal RM 1,000,000 ! That’s about USD $ 270,000 ? That’s quite …a..lot…right?

Erm…maybe based on inflation, our government will increase it to USD 400k in Olympic 2012? And you get to be “Datuk” in our country.

Hmm, fear not, they might change their mind AGAIN in the near future.

However, as a Malaysian, I seriously, sincerely, and honestly hope that you guys will not come to Malaysia. =_=

Why? Hmm…because we don’t want to ruin the future of our younger generation. We’re not like Singapore you know?

You still can come to Malaysia to become coaches….well, you STILL get to earn a lot if you managed to help your “students” win gold medals……Good deal right? USD 20k for helping another person to win gold medal !

Oh, you will also get the name “Datuk”.

You come, you teach our people, our people win, Malaysians can be proud, YOU can be proud…we happy, you take money, you also happy. Win-win situation, no?

So for all those gold/silver/bronze medalists who want to come and become a citizen of Malaysia…please wait till you’re a bit older. Better for our young sportsmen. Don’t come when you’re young, because you might be taking their rice bowls.

And to US Basketball team…..sorry, you guys are too expensive. Not applicable to you all.

To Zhang Ning, you’re very good…but …maybe a little bit senior. Perhaps becoming a coach is a better option? Oh, and to Lin Dan…you come here and become coach or player…no problem, as long as you don’t beat people up. OK?

To Chinese Table Tennis team…..sorry, we’re not Singapore.
