Dare to dream !

The Anti Corruption Agency (ACA) has been doing a pretty good job so far. Some of you might say that ACA didn’t catch bigger fish….but I believe it is still a positive progress for them. Let’s just hope they can use the small fish which they’ve caught to lure the bigger fish into the net.

But based on the posting which I came across in New Straits Time – ACA officers posed as ‘tea boys’ at Puspakom, I really wonder if the big fish will be so stupid.

There’s no wrong in letting people know what they’ve done and achieved because if they don’t, people will start to complain about ACA being useless…bla bla bla, spending our money, bla bla bla. That is why nobody actually blamed them even though they ALWAYS announce their results to the press.

BUT BUT BUT………This latest article from NST is somehow….STRANGE. Why? Firstly, when they said “undercovers”….doesn’t that mean they are directly telling everyone that there are spies in PUSPAKOM (and not outside PUSPAKOM, as in the clients, etc)? OK, if I’m a PUSPAKOM officer and I saw this NST posting about “new joiners” becoming “teaboys” (or “wardens”, “admin staff”, etc) who are actually spies from ACA…….. I would certainly refrain myself from getting involved in anything related to bribes for a while. Just to be safe. Once everything has calm down, then maybe i will return to my “bribe” thingy.

That’s it. The ACA will only manage to catch those few people because they’ve announced to everyone that the people who reported the “bribes” are actually ACA spies INSIDE PUSPAKOM.

It is like assassinating an enemy ruler and telling him “hey, my assassins are in your country to kill you!” Of course my enemy would start to find bodyguards to surround him or remain anonymous/hidden.

Common sense, no?

*Sighs* I know ACA is proud and glad of what they did….and as a Malaysian, I’m glad for them too. But..it’s just VERY WEIRD if they start to behave like this – to announce to people where their spies are. =_=
