With Lee Chong Wei’s recent lost in the final of the Beijing Olympic 2008, some people have questioned his credibility as our nation’s top singles player. Most people are proud of him (including myself) but there is always this small group of people who prefers to complain and think negatively.
But when one saw his dejected look during the prize giving ceremony, one would understand immediately how disappointed he was at that time – for failing to bring Malaysia’s first gold medal. Perhaps he did not do his best…..as he wasn’t playing his usual game. But one needs to know the amount of pressure he has to endure before, during and after the match… Even our politicians decided to take a rest in front of the TV and support him.
In my opinion, we should not blame him for not performing up to par…….nobody should. Why? Because he is one of the best shuttlers our country has ever seen in recent time. His record speaks for itself.

I believe it’s been a while since we have such a good singles badminton player. So let’s cheer for him and hope he can beat that Lin Dan in all their future matches!

Yeap. he’s still quite young
Of course he’s the best in Malaysia’s Badminton history. Hope he can go far, the question is they must sort out their confidence level, and also mentally got to be strong. Otherwise he will always be the best in Malaysia only!

Yeap, confidence and stability = 2 important elements in everything you do. If you’re not confident and not stable….you’ll not be able to perform no matter how good you are.
