Most employees only look at one side of things
You only have limited tomorrows
Just few days ago, a friend of mine messaged me in Yahoo! Messenger. Everytime she messages me, there is surely something in her mind that she wants to talk about – and it’s always the same thing.
She likes this guy who is a little bit oblivious (a lot of guys are like that) and this guy doesn’t want to make a move. This relationship has been going on for more than a year and nobody actually dare to make a move.
What I told her was…..to ask the guy out for a meal. That’s all. Nobody says that the guy must make the first move. If the girl still feel so shy and doesn’t want to make a move….in the end, the person who regrets the most could be herself. And if the guy is so “ego” that he doesn’t want to make a move as well…..then it’ll be a never ending story. No?
In the end, i could only tell her that life is short. Do what you want to do most…(of course without offending other people), and have no regret. If you don’t do it, you might regret not taking the first step for the rest of your life.
This does not apply just to relationship, but to other things as well, such as your career…. been wanting to be your own boss and sell something? Start planning and getting all the stuff you need to start! Make a move. Don’t just talk and then let the wind carries your words away.
Feel you’re not good enough in something? Try taking a course.
Feel you’re neglecting your family due to your work? Put down all your work stuff and spend more time with your family.
Remember that you only have limited tomorrows. All of us have limited tomorrows. The number of tomorrows you can spend with your family is limited as well. So cherish every moment.
Hope it helps.
Sometimes, you cannot rely on your supervisor for motivation

This is a true story of one of my good friends. Hahaha. How demotivating can this be? Maybe that is why all the motivational and management gurus said that the best motivation comes from within.
