It’s been ages since my last post (can see my Alexa ranking dropped from 900k to 1,800k) . A lot of things happened in the past few weeks. I’ve been thinking a lot about my future (back to the same question). My hair is beginning to drop a lot…i think. Hmm, but most probably due to the strong wind (freaking cold weather. Sitting in my living room with heater on and i’m shivering…it’s 0 or -1 outside).

The father of 2 good friends of mine (siblings) passed away last week. He was a very nice person and to be honest, he was the first person that I feel “connected” with who has passed away. True, I don’t know him well but I still feel sad. Would like to apologize to my friends, for not being able to be in Malaysia. Hope everything will be fine soon. If “my friend”, you’re reading this, I’m sorry.

Now, back to myself. I’ve been practicing my drawing nowadays….a lot…even when I’m really really tired after work. And once i started drawing…somehow it’s hard to stop. My artwork has not improved a lot…maybe 1%? But hopefully i can improve a lot more…i am really pushing myself to improve a lot more than this. Else, my art will not be good enough to start an online comic web site.

And i’ve been reading E-Myth….on how to build a successful small business. The author actually talked about own primary aims in life….what do we want to do in life and how this small business of ours is supposed to help us reach that goal and not ending up becoming an obstacle. Most people started business because they want to be their own boss, doing what they like to do most but the outcome is totally opposite from what they are expecting. But well, that’s a totally different topic to talk about.

The author asked about “How do you want people to think n say of you when you are dead?”. If you’ve read 7 Habits by Stephen Covey, it’s the same example. I’ve asked a few of my friends and most of them replied “Why so troublesome? Never think before-lah” or “Dead already, why bother?”. But they don’t see the point, whatever people said of you when you are dead, are not based on the DEAD YOU but the YOU who was alive. Of course, i wouldn’t care what they said when i’m already dead, would i?

Regardless of what they (my friends) think, i’ve given some thoughts into this. What do i really want from my life? The author also said that most people do not dare to venture out into the unknown….covered by a veil….hidden from the real world. We are confined to our 9-5 modern slave work. We have loans to pay, etc etc. We pass by each day…just like any other day…uneventful. The only happy events which might happen will be from friends, family, maybe career…a bit… and sad events would be — bills. Haha.

So are you living your life the way you want it? Or are you just passing by? spending each day like a routine job…nothing special….and something that you can go through without opening your eyes or switching on your brain (sound like robot or zombie).

Life is short….each passing day SHOULD bring you closer to your goal….or at least, moving towards that direction. Otherwise, it’ll become too routine….too boring. Well, that’s my opinion anyway.

I won’t be giving any advice because I myself have not found the 100% answer. Close…but not there yet. I’m asking YOU to think about it. It’s better to regret what you are doing now than 10 years later. Nobody can turn back time.

So…what I’m planning to do, will be to open up the veil…….and venture into the unknown….with some plans in hand of course. I don’t want to end up sleeping on the street.

Hi all. Sorry for not being able to post up in this rather inactive blog. I’ve been quite busy doing a few things and my home internet has been down for 3 days (at least). =_= UK is not that high-tech after all. I’m blogging …secretly….illegally…. in the office now while trying to rush some work for my boss.

I’ll be posting again once my home internet comes back.
